Brachyglottis compactus
Compact rounded native shrub with distinctive grey-green leaves, densely felted beneath with pure white hairs. Superb plant in many landscapes. Clusters of bright yellow flowers in ssummer. Must have well drained soil, will grow in dry sites. Always plant in a sunny situation. Very hardy. Occurs naturally in coastal exposed conditions.
