Blechnum penna-marina

A dainty creeping fern with long rhizome stems forming a ground cover mat. Slender dark green fronds grow between 5 and 50 high depending on condtions. The more shaded, the longer they grow. Will form a very thick thatch of foliage once established. Prefers a semi-shaded site. Hardy.
