Acer buergerianum buergerianum
Medium, rounded, deciduous tree with dense, strong branches. Dappled bark. Small glossy green leaves emerge in the spring with a red tinge. Red flowers bloom in pendant racemes in spring giving way to winged samaras. Excellent rich orange to red Autumn colour. Hardy to cold, and dry tolerant once established, though prefers a sheltered site with good soil to reach it's full potential.
