Very flat spreading native bidibidi. It will grow to form a mat of small, pale blue leaves. Pinkish balls of flowers. Prefers soils that do not dry out, grows in sun or shade. Hardy to cold. Great amongst paving stones and boulders. It is quick growing and always looks good. Grows naturally in the South Island, east of the Alps form subalpine to high alpine. In open but sheltered sites.
